The Colorless Green Ideas project is an open laboratory aimed at exploring the deep relation connecting art and meaning. More specifically, we dig into the way in which meanings of words are created in specific cultural contexts and how these meanings can shape forms, colors, sounds, or any other sensory stimulus.

Our exploration is artistic and scientific at the same time.

  • On the one hand, we believe that modern artificial intelligence can provide deep insight in understanding the meaning of language in specific cultural contexts.
  • On the other hand, the outcomes of this semantic journey is of such a complexity (think about millions of numbers to represent a single word) that an art-based representation is better suited for human understanding.
